Girls & Boys, 3rd – 8th Grade

The DTA Strength & Conditioning Program will help young athletes build base strength, increase flexibility, help stave off injury and develop the proper habits of fitness and nutrition that are essential for not only improving performance but more importantly decreasing the likelihood of injury and maintaining a high level of health. The quote on the right hand column of this page, from The Journal of Strength & Conditioning Research, and what DTA will provide in it’s programming is the transitioning tool for young athletes to better prepare their bodies for the increased rigors of sport.  A young athlete simply cannot show up on the first day of practice at any level and expect to participate to their potential when no prior preparation is taken, ultimately the body will weaken and break down (broken bones due to low bone density, muscle and tendon sprains and strains, etc…).

The DTA Conditioning Program is for both boys and girls.

Monday’s (maximum 8 sessions)
7:00pm – 7:45pm

Grades: 3rd – 8th (boys & girls)

Cost: $150.00 for 8 sessions, $85.00 for 4 sessions
